Shipping Policy

At Stainless Fermentation Tanks, we understand that shipping industrial equipment requires careful planning and coordination. Our shipping policy is designed to be transparent and straightforward, ensuring your fermentation tanks, bright tanks, and storage vessels arrive safely and on time.

Free Shipping — United States Only

We offer free freight shipping on all orders delivered within the United States. There are no hidden freight charges, fuel surcharges, or delivery fees. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

We currently ship exclusively to addresses within the 50 United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Order Processing & Handling Times

Due to the size and weight of our products, order processing times vary by tank capacity:

  • Small tanks (under 200L / 50 gallons): 3-5 business days for quality inspection, packaging, and dispatch.
  • Medium tanks (200L-1000L / 50-250 gallons): 5-7 business days for inspection, crating, and freight scheduling.
  • Large tanks (1000L+ / 250+ gallons): 7-10 business days for custom crating, freight coordination, and liftgate arrangement.
  • Custom-sized tanks: 10-15 business days depending on fabrication requirements.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. You will receive an email confirmation when your order ships, along with freight tracking information.

Transit Times

Transit times depend on your location and the size of the shipment:

  • Standard freight (LTL): 5-10 business days from dispatch.
  • Dedicated freight (FTL for large tanks): 3-7 business days from dispatch.
  • Remote/rural locations: Allow an additional 2-3 business days.

Freight Carriers & Delivery Methods

We partner with reputable freight carriers specializing in heavy industrial equipment:

  • Less-than-Truckload (LTL): Used for tanks under 1,000 lbs. Shipped via XPO Logistics, Old Dominion, or Saia.
  • Full Truckload (FTL): Used for large tanks or multiple-unit orders. Dedicated truck for safe transport.
  • Liftgate Service: Included at no charge for residential or non-dock deliveries.
  • Curbside Delivery: Standard delivery method. The driver will place the shipment at the curb or nearest accessible point.

Receiving Your Shipment

Important steps when your tank arrives:

  • Inspect before signing: Check the crate/packaging for visible damage before accepting delivery. Note any damage on the delivery receipt.
  • Photo documentation: Take photos of the packaging and product before unwrapping, especially if damage is visible.
  • Signature required: All shipments require a signature on delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment.
  • Delivery scheduling: The freight carrier will contact you 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a delivery window.

Damaged Shipments

If your tank arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at +1-569-533-3242 or info@stainlessfermentationtanks.com. We will review the issue and help arrange a replacement, repair, or claim process where applicable. Please do not discard the original packaging until the claim or support case is resolved.

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your freight tracking number and a link to track your shipment. You can also contact us at any time for status updates.
